President Donald Trump may lose the support of some supporters of his MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement if he orders a US strike on Iran, Bloomberg columnist Andreas Kluth wrote.

According to him, Trump will lose the support of those who consider him a peacemaker, since during his election campaign he had pledged not to drag the US into perpetual wars and failed regime change operations, as happened in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya.

Some Trump supporters—including journalist Tucker Carlson, blogger Charlie Kirk, and former Trump chief political strategist Steve Bannon—have already spoken out against a Washington intervention in the ongoing conflict between Tel Aviv and Tehran.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
