An Iranian ballistic missile struck Beersheba in southern Israel on Friday morning, lightly wounding seven people and causing substantial damage to homes, as Israel and Iran continued their exchange of fire, reports The Times of Israel.

The missile struck a road near several apartment blocks, creating a large crater and setting several cars on fire.

There were no reports of casualties.

This missile strike followed a series of nighttime Iranian drone attacks, some of which were shot down.

On June 13, Israel attacked Iran, and this was followed by retaliatory measures by Iran. Military actions between the two countries are continuing to this day.
