A UN Security Council meeting on the U.S. attack on Iran will take place on Sunday at the initiative of several countries, including Russia and China, and a draft resolution is being prepared, according to Israel’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.

As previously reported by the mission of Guyana, which holds the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council in June, the meeting in response to the U.S. attack on Iran is scheduled for 23:00 Yerevan time.

“The (UN Security Council) meeting is being held at the initiative of several countries, including Russia and China, which are promoting a draft resolution condemning the United States and Israel,” the Israeli mission said in a statement.
