Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he discussed the U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities in a phone call with his British counterpart, David Lammy.

“In a phone conversation, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi discussed the latest developments related to the U.S. aggression against our country’s peaceful nuclear facilities. In the call, our Foreign Minister strongly condemned the U.S. aggressive act, calling it a blatant violation of international law. The UK Foreign Secretary expressed regret over the incident, denied any role or cooperation [with the U.S. in carrying out the strike], and called for continued diplomacy,” Araghchi wrote on his Telegram channel.
