A total of 606 people, including women and children, have been killed in Iran ever since the start of the Israeli attacks, Iran's health ministry said, Press TV reports.

And 5,332 people have been injured, the health ministry added.

Earlier, Hossein Kermanpour, the head of public relations at Iran's health ministry, said that 44 Iranian women had been killed and another 163 had been injured as a result of the Israeli attacks.

Two pregnant women also were among these casualties.

And 13 children had died, Kermanpour added.
