The Center for Combating Disinformation of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration denied claims that US bombers used Turkish airspace to attack Iran's nuclear facilities, Turkish media reported.

The statement said Turkish airspace was not violated in any way during Israel's attacks on Iran. Turkish airspace was definitely not used during the US attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities.

The statement said the bombers, which departed from the US, entered the Strait of Gibraltar and reached Israel from the southern Mediterranean Sea and struck Iran via Iraq.

"After the attack, the bombers followed the same route in the opposite direction, refueled over the Mediterranean Sea (south of Crete) and returned to the United States. The Republic of Turkey continues to press for peace and stability in the Middle East, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan leading initiatives to maintain diplomacy. Any claims to the contrary are the product of disinformation," the Center states.
