A member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Republican Buddy Carter nominated the country's President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize after he mediated a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran. This was reported by Fox News.
According to Carter, Trump played an “exceptional and historic role” in ending “the armed conflict between Israel and Iran and in preventing the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism from obtaining the deadliest weapons on the planet.”
