At the invitation of Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey, Army General Metin Gurak, the Azerbaijani delegation headed by First Deputy Defense Minister - Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Colonel General Kerim Veliyev has arrived in Turkey on a visit.

Azertaj reports that within the framework of the visit the delegation will take part in the international exercise “Defender of Peace - 2025” held in Istanbul, as well as in the event “Day of High Observer” organized within the international maneuvers “Anatolian Eagle - 2025” in the city of Konya.

In addition, Veliyev is scheduled to meet with Turkish National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler during the visit.
