A turning point is being seen in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. The two parties have practically reached an agreement on a 60-day ceasefire, Israeli and American sources say.

Israel has already agreed to the draft agreement prepared by the US, reports Bild. The rest is up to Hamas to decide, with a final response expected tomorrow.

The agreement includes the phased transfer of 10 living and 18 dead Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian captives, according to The New York Times. The process will last two months and will be divided into five phases. Also, Hamas has promised to refrain from public hostage handover ceremonies.

"I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE," US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social. The Israeli military estimates that 50 people remain in Hamas captivity, 27 of whom are believed to have been killed.
