After adopting the 18th package of sanctions against Russia, the European Union began working on the next package of restrictive measures. This was announced by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.

According to a press release from the Estonian Foreign Ministry, Tsahkna confirmed that work on the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions had begun and stated that the European Union would not “limit itself to half-measures.”
