Russian and Ukrainian delegations may meet this week in Istanbul, the Independent Turkce newspaper reported on Monday, citing sources.
“The talks may take place on Wednesday or Thursday,” the report said.
Earlier, the Russian negotiating team confirmed that Ukraine had proposed to Russia to hold a new round of talks this week.
In 2025, direct talks between Russia and Ukraine took place on May 16 and June 2 in Istanbul.
