At least 14 civilians and one soldier were killed and 46 were injured in Thailand in the armed clashes along the Cambodian border, Thailand's health ministry said.
The ministry said five people were killed in Surin province, nine people—including one soldier—in Si Sa Ket province, and one local was killed in Ubon Ratchathani province.
The armed clashes took place along the Cambodian-Thai border on Thursday morning near the disputed border area of Oddar Meanchey province.
