Saudi Arabia can normalize ties with Israel only after the establishment of a Palestinian state, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan said, Bloomberg reports.
“For the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, normalization with Israel can only come through the establishment of a Palestinian state,” Bin Farhan said.
He added that this position remains unchanged and is based on the firm belief that only by creating a Palestinian state and only by recognizing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people can lasting peace and real regional integration be achieved.
It is pointless to talk about normalization when people are constantly dying, suffering, and destruction is taking place in Gaza, added the Saudi FM.
