An F-35 fighter jet of the US Air Force crashed at Naval Air Station Lemoore in central California on Wednesday, the US Navy confirmed, ABC News reports.
"The pilot successfully ejected and is safe. There are no additional affected personnel," NAS Lemoore said in a statement.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
