Iran has executed an Iranian citizen who had collaborated with Israel's intelligence service, Mossad, and provided information on the location of an Iranian nuclear scientist who was killed, Iranian judicial authorities informed, Mizan news agency reports.
The person convicted of collaborating with Israeli intelligence worked for an Iranian state organization and had access to classified information. He was recruited by Mossad online and then met with Israeli intelligence officers in Vienna several times.
This man had sent Mossad weekly secret reports on his workplace activities and was paid in cryptocurrency, to an electronic wallet. In this way, Israeli intelligence learned the location of an Iranian nuclear scientist who was later killed during an Israeli attack on Iran in June.
