The member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) approved ten documents at the meeting of the EAEU Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, informs the press service of the Russian government.
These documents include the approval of the program for the development of exchange trading on the single EAEU commodity exchange market, the annual report of the Eurasian Economic Commission—the executive body of the EAEU—on the state of competition in border markets and measures taken to prevent violations of common competition rules in them for 2024, as well as the order on changes in the implementation of the transport policy of the EAEU member states for 2024-2026.
In addition, the delegations approved the concept of developing a single EAEU market for medicines and medical equipment.
The head of the Russian delegation, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized all these agreements in his address.
Armenia also is a member in the Eurasian Economic Union, and it attended the aforesaid meeting.
