The US will not make any commitments on Ukraine's security guarantees until it understands what is required, US Vice President JD Vance said in an interview with Fox News.

Vance stressed that the US is open to dialogue, but Washington is not going to make commitments until it is clear what is needed first to stop hostilities.

The US vice president noted that the lion's share of future guarantees for Ukraine should be taken by European countries because it is their continent and their security.
