Iranian and Turkish Presidents Masoud Pezeshkian and Recep Tayyip Erdogan also discussed the latest agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan during their talks on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in China, Mehr reports.

The Iranian president expressed support for these agreements aimed at stabilizing peace in the region, while opposing any foreign military presence in the Caucasus.

For his part, Erdogan highlighted the “ongoing consultations with leaders from Azerbaijan and Armenia to stabilize peace in the Caucasus.”
