Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia are holding talks on Karabakh in Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi on Monday.

Serzh Sargsyan and Ilham Aliyev arrived in Sochi at the invitation of their Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.

It is the tenth trilateral meeting held since 2008. The Kremlin marks successful resolution of the Karabakh conflict as a priority of Russia’s regional interests, RIA Novosti reports. 

Last year the sides met in Russia’s cities of Kazan and Sochi.

On March 5, by the initiative and in the presence of the President of the Russian Federation a meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan took place in Sochi, resulting in an agreement on seeking to solve all contentious issues by peaceful means and conduct investigations – with the participation of sides – into possible incidents along the ceasefire line.

The trilateral meeting of the Presidents of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan held on June 24, 2011 in Kazan did not achieve progress.
