Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov said that Russia and the US are planning another round of consultations through their foreign ministries.
“Another round of inter-ministerial consultations is currently planned,” Ushakov told a Channel One correspondent.
He added that there are still many issues that remain unresolved. The Kremlin representative clarified that Moscow and Washington are currently engaged in dialogue primarily on Ukraine, and that it is too early to talk about the development of bilateral relations.
Ushakov also emphasized that Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping did not discuss the idea of deploying a Chinese peacekeeping contingent in Ukraine during their talks.
