Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei condemned Israel's strikes on Qatar as a “criminal, extremely dangerous, and flagrant violation” of international law, which violated Qatar's sovereignty, Mehr reported. 

Baghaei called the Israeli strike on Qatar “a criminal, extremely dangerous and flagrant violation” of international law. 

The Iranian spokesman also warned that the international community's inaction regarding “the crimes of the Zionist regime in Palestine and West Asia threatens everyone.”

Earlier, explosions rocked the Qatari capital of Doha.

Israel said it had attacked representatives of the Palestinian group Hamas in Qatar.

Later, the Qatari Foreign Ministry said that the Israeli strike had hit residential buildings where representatives of the Hamas politburo were located.
