Nepal's health ministry said on Wednesday that the death toll in this week's anticorruption protests in the country rose to 25, India Today reports.

It added that 633 people were injured.

These protests and riots were organized by the Gen Z movement, which is demanding the dissolution of Nepal's House of Representatives, constitutional amendments, and transparent elections.

Government buildings were set on fire during the riots.

But Nepal's army has regained control and imposed a curfew in the country.
