The government, at its Cabinet meeting Thursday, decided to reallocate 20 million drams from the 2025 state budget of Armenia to properly organize and hold the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly to be held in capital Yerevan.
The respective explanation states that 20 million drams out of 160 million drams from the temporarily free financial resources of the “Administrative Equipment” article of the “Improvement of Technical Equipment” measure of the National Assembly of Armenia will be allocated to cover the expenses necessary for holding the aforementioned event, and 140 million drams will be allocated to cover other representation expenses planned until the end of the year.
The Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly—with up to 100 participants—is planned to be held in Yerevan in September and October. The matter of its organizing and holding was agreed this year, and therefore no funds were allocated in this regard in the 2025 state budget of Armenia.
