YEREVAN. – A delegation from the Rosselkhozbank Bank of Russia, led by its Board Chairman Dmitry Patrushev, is in Armenia, and the delegation was received by the National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed food security and, in this context, stressed the need to develop agriculture, NSC Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

The parties also examined the matter of opening Rosselkhozbank Bank’s branch in Armenia. Dmitry Patrushev noted there is a tremendous track record in the agricultural industry, and its implementation in Armenia would greatly contribute to strengthening the financial and economic ties between both countries.    

In his turn, NSC Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan underscored the Bank’s representation in Armenia, and expressed a hope that this branch would play a part in increasing investments in, and funding of, Armenia’s agriculture.
