Six people were killed in floods and landslides in Fiji Islands.
At the moment serious situation is also in Denerau Island. The residents are deprived of necessary living conditions, their houses are filled with water.
According to the meteorologists’ forecasts such floods are expected in the next 10 days.
New Zealand’s FM Murray McCully announced that his country would allocate $350,000 for supporting rescue operations in Fiji Islands, RIA Novosti reports.
