YEREVAN. - On the occasion of Armenian Armed Forces Day 20th anniversary, Sergeant Rubik Mikayelyan is preparing to break his own record in sit-ups.  

On September 21, 2011, he performed 6,500 sit-ups and was registered in the Guinness Book of World Records, MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

Sambo wrestler Rubik Mikayelyan is serving in the Armenian army since Spring 2011.  

And on Friday, January 28, 2012, that is, the on the 20th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces, Mikayelyan will try to break own record by performing 7,500 sit-ups.
