The authorities of Haiti declared Hollywood actor Sean Penn as ambassador at large for Haiti.
During the Monday ceremony at Haiti’s national palace, President Michel Martelly recognized the actor’s to restoration of the country after the 2010 earthquake when 250 thousand people died.
Sean Penn spends weeks in Haiti, taking part in several humanitarian projects, AP reports.
