YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Minister of Energy and Natural recourses Armen Movsissyan met with the parliamentary opposition Heritage group and Kadjaran community members.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the issues of Kadjaran Community. It was decided to continue the discussions and if needed to organize meetings in Kadjaran.

The Armenian Government has decided to grant land in Kadjaran and near the Armenian-Iranian border to Zangezur’s Copper-Molybdenum Plant in order to use as an open mining area.

The Kadjaran villagers are against this project.
