The unusual frosts were registered in the cities and regions of Georgia on the night of February 3. The temperature dropped to -10-13° C in Tbilisi, while -15-20° C in the mountain regions.
It is the coldest winter registered in Georgia since 1998, ITAR-TASS reports.
The number of car accidents and injured pedestrians has increased.
According to the meteorologists’ forecast, a slight warming is expected in most of the regions today.
