YEREVAN. – Proceedings are not launched in connection with the increase in Armenia’s gasoline prices, but studies are being conducted, Armenian State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition Chairman Artak Shaboyan stated on Friday.
In his words, several factors could impact this increase in gasoline prices. First, it is the change in the taxation mechanism for gasoline and diesel fuel. And second, it is the change in exchange rate, as the Armenian dram’s devaluation affects the prices.
