The hearings of the case of head of Akhtala Metal Prince mining plant Serob Ter-Poghosyan’s appeal, who was sentenced for pedophilia, was heard in the Court of Appeal on Friday. The court denied his appeal and did not change the verdict of Armenian Lori Region’s First Instance Court.
To remind, the businessman was sentenced to 15 years.
According to the businessman’s lawyer Givi Hovhannisyan, they are going to apply to the Court of Appeals.
To note, the head of Akhtala Metal Prince mining plant was accused of having sex with underage boys. Serob Ter-Poghosyan is charged on 140 and 139 articles of Criminal Code of Armenia.
