Over 25% messages is rubbish and of no interest in Twitter, Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, as well as technological universities in Georgia and Massachusetts researches claim. 

It is based on studying 40,000 messages from 21000 subscribers, NEWSru.com reports. However, it was not of much surprise as over 130 million useless messages are typed per day in Twitter.

Over 36% were worth reading, while 25% not, Russian newspaper reports quoting The Daily Telegraph. To note, Twitter has more than 200 million subscribers, and the number is growing.
