The “Crossroads of Peace” project is a good opportunity for the development of various sectors in Armenia, China’s ambassador to Armenia, Li Xinwei, told reporters Wednesday—and responding to a question from Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Li added that Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” is a promising project, and suggested giving it even greater attention. Also, the ambassador noted that the “Trump Route” project is a new initiative this year.

 “We [i.e. China] are following very closely the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project promoted by the Armenian government and [PM] Mr. [Nikol] Pashinyan. Before the ‘Trump Route’ project was promoted, when I arrived in Armenia, I began studying the ‘Crossroads of Peace’ project,” the Chinese diplomat emphasized.
