Russian Armenian businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan will be transferred again to the isolation ward of the National Security Service of Armenia.

The Anti-Corruption Court of Appeal of Armenia today overturned the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia, which had imposed house arrest as the pretrial detention measure against Karapetyan.

Karapetyan was sentenced to two months in detention as pretrial detention measure, the Anti-Corruption Court spokesperson told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On December 30, 2025, Samvel Karapetyan was released on bail and placed under house arrest as a pretrial detention measure.
