In 2025, Armenia’s budget revenues will increase by 306 billion drams, and expenditures by 350 billion drams, Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan told a press conference Wednesday.

He noted that capital expenditures increased by 151 billion drams. Hovhannisyan added that capital expenditures under Armenia’s Ministry of Defense increased by 86 billion drams, reaching 419 billion drams, or more than $1 billion.

According to him, capital expenditures of Armenia’s economic bloc—excluding data from the defense ministry and expenditures funded by international partners—increased by 81.7% percent, or 70 billion drams.

“The most significant impact on this was the school construction work,” added the Armenian finance minister.
