YEREVAN. –Armenia’s interstate highways, local roads, and mountain passes are drivable, for the most part, as of Saturday 10 a.m.

But Selim Mountain Pass, Aghveran-Charentsavan and Berd-Chambarak highways, the intercommunity motorways of Aragatsotn Region and Sevan city, the Verin Getashen-Madina, Makenis-Akhpradzor, and Ayrk-Verin Shorzha highways, and a 2-km section of the Bagaran-Yervandashat Motorway are closed, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

Also, the interstate highways of Shirak Region, all highways of Tavush Region, the intercommunity roads of Martuni city, and the intercommunity roads of Vardenis and Chambarak cities are difficult to drive due to snowstorm and low visibility.  

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
