YEREVAN. – Officers from Armenia’s Police Force detained, on Friday from an apartment in Artashat city, Aramayis Sargsyan, 31, on suspicion of committing theft. 

It was found out that, back in Fall 2010, he had stolen two electric batteries from a KAMAZ-model truck, which was parked in a capital Yerevan street, thereby causing a material damage worth AMD 120,000 (approx. US$ 310), Police Force informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

The injured party, however, had not informed of this theft to the Police.

An investigation is underway.
