Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan on Tuesday received the ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to Armenia, Alexandra Cole, we learn from the minister's Facebook page.
"I welcomed the ambassador and highlighted the continued development of relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom.
The ambassador, in turn, emphasized [that] Armenia-United Kingdom relations are at the level of strategic partnership.
During the meeting, we discussed infrastructure projects.
I informed the ambassador that the Ministry of TAI [i.e. Territorial Administration and Infrastructure] is implementing a large infrastructure project, and it would be very desirable to see UK companies in these projects, international tenders.
We also touched upon the Crossroads of Peace initiative [of Armenia].
We have both attached importance to the launch of direct Yerevan-London flights from June, which will enable to further develop relations between the two countries in both trade and economic and tourism," adds the Armenian official.
