YEREVAN. – Armenia’s interstate highways, local roads, and mountain passes are drivable, for the most part, as of Tuesday 8 a.m.

But Selim Mountain Pass and the Berd-Chambarak Highway are closed, and there is hidden ice on some road sections, the Transport and Communication Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

And according to the information which the Ministry of Emergency Situations received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Tuesday 8:30 a.m., due to a danger of avalanche, travel at Georgia’s Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is prohibited.
