Three American service members were killed and five were seriously wounded during Operation “Epic Fury,” the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced today.

“Several others sustained minor shrapnel wounds and concussions and are in the process of returning to duty,” the statement from Central Command said. “Major combat operations are ongoing, and our response efforts continue.”
