A member of the parliamentary health committee, Fateme Mohammad Beygi, stated that nine hospitals were attacked during the military campaign against Iran — five of them in Tehran and four in other cities across the country.
According to her, Gandhi Hospital in Tehran was fully evacuated, with patients transferred to other medical facilities.
International organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), have confirmed that at least several medical facilities in Tehran were damaged as a result of nearby explosions, with patient evacuations also reported.
The WHO is currently working to verify reports of damage to additional medical centers, including facilities in other regions of Iran.
