There will be no shortage of goods in Armenia due to the situation around Iran, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced during a press briefing held at the government Thursday.

According to Pashinyan, the Armenian authorities took care of mitigating and reducing the risks associated with the aggravation of the situation in a timely manner. The thing is that an interdepartmental working group has been operating in Armenia for more than a year.

“Let there be no impression that the Armenian government is unconcerned, no. When everyone else was unconcerned, the Armenian government was taking its actions and making decisions,” Pashinyan said.

The premier noted that Armenia has institutions that are functioning, and he believes that problems should not be resolved with hasty and short-term measures.
