The infrastructure of Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan — the largest and most active offensive base for American fighter jets — was struck multiple times during the 28th wave of Operation "True Promise-4," Tasnim reports, citing an IRGC statement.
According to the IRGC, military targets in Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva were also hit with Kheibar missiles.
The statement also warns that "the scale and depth of Iran's armed forces' attacks against the enemy will expand in the coming hours and days in response to the actions" of the US and Israeli armies.
For context: the US and Israel have been attacking Iranian territory since February 28, causing destruction and casualties. In response, Iran has been launching missile strikes against Israel and US military bases in the region. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Seyyed Khamenei and other senior officials were killed in the US-Israeli strikes. On March 2, Hezbollah joined the war against Israel, with Israel announcing the launch of an offensive operation against the movement.
