The overnight explosion at the US Embassy in Oslo may have been a deliberate attack "linked to the current security situation," Reuters reports, citing a Norwegian police source.

Police currently have no suspects but are searching for one or more potential perpetrators and are pursuing several leads.

The explosion occurred on embassy grounds at around 1:00 AM local time. No casualties have been reported.
