Explosions have been heard in Abu Dhabi as the United Arab Emirates reported missile and drone launches from Iran, Al Jazeera reports.
According to the UAE Defense Ministry, air defense systems are currently responding to incoming missiles and drones from Iran.
"The Ministry of Defense reports that the sounds are the result of the interception of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles by air defense systems," the ministry stated.
