President Donald Trump once again went after British Prime Minister Keir Starmer over his stance on the war with Iran.

"I was disappointed, because he was ready to send two aircraft carriers after we won… but I said: no, no, we wanted them sent before the war, not after it was over. So yes, I'm disappointed in this man. I like him, I think he's a pleasant person, but I'm disappointed," Trump said during a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin.

Trump also repeated his view that Sir Keir "is no Winston Churchill."

Micheál Martin interrupted Trump when the president began making unfavorable comparisons between the British prime minister and Churchill. He praised Sir Keir for restoring relations with Ireland and called him "sincere" and "reliable."

Trump, however, continued his criticism, declaring that Starmer's immigration and energy policies are a "disaster." "You've let millions of people into your country who shouldn't be there. And by the way, that goes for all of Europe. Europe is a different place. It's a completely different place. And you know, many of us come from Europe. I love Europe, I spend a lot of time there. But it's a different place. Bad. Bad things have happened to you, and you'd better do something about immigration, and you'd better do something about energy, or Europe won't be what it should be."
