Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Israel must stop assassinating Iranian state and political figures.
"Political assassinations by Israel, particularly targeting Iranian state and political figures, are illegal and go beyond the norms of customary military law. This must be stopped as soon as possible," Fidan said at a press conference with his Canadian counterpart Anita Anand.
He noted that "the war has begun to spread to Lebanon as well," and that the situation in Iraq "is becoming increasingly complicated." According to him, Ankara is making continuous efforts to stop the conflict. Fidan announced that starting tomorrow, he will visit countries in the region to discuss steps toward ending the war.
