Iran has recorded a projectile strike on the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran informed, Tasnim News Agency reports.

"An enemy projectile hit the area of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant. The strike did not cause any financial, technical or human damage, nor did it damage any part of the nuclear plant.

Such actions contradict all international norms on the immunity of nuclear facilities from military attacks and could have irreversible consequences for the entire region, including countries bordering the Persian Gulf," Tasnim noted.
