U.S. Vice President JD Vance, along with key administration officials, will meet with oil company executives on Thursday amid the energy crisis triggered by the U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran, Bloomberg reports.

According to the agency, the meeting will take place at the American Petroleum Institute in Washington. It is noted that the American administration "is facing strong political pressure over rising fuel prices." Analysts believe the U.S. authorities have limited options for curbing energy prices, the agency adds.
