Qatar's Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani called for the "restoration of trust" following Iran's retaliatory strikes on the country, Al Jazeera reports.

According to him, Iranian attacks since the start of the war have caused "massive shock," and this strike "raises many questions" for the region in terms of relations between neighboring countries.

"Trust has been lost, but it must be restored. We want to live in peace with the Iranian people," the Qatari Prime Minister said.

Earlier, Qatar's Foreign Ministry ordered Iran's military attaché and security attaché, along with their staff, to leave the country within 24 hours.

This came after Iran attacked the Ras Laffan industrial hub, where oil and gas facilities are located. Qatari authorities previously stated that the attack on Ras Laffan constitutes a direct threat to national security.

Recall that Iran began striking U.S. and Israeli military targets in the region in response to the U.S.-Israeli military campaign against the country, which began on February 28.
